WP25001052 Whirlpool Drain Pump
This Front Load Washer Drain Pump removes the waste water from your front-load washer during the drain portion of the wash cycle. If your washer doesn't drain properly the pump may be clogged, damaged or defective – this assembly may alleviate any of these drainage issues. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off your hot and cold water supplies. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.

Replacing the Whirlpool WP25001052 PUMP-ASM
1. Disconnect power to the dishwasher before replacing the pump.
2. Open the bottom panel of the dishwasher and remove the access panel on the left side.
3. Unplug the electrical connectors and remove the two mounting screws securing the pump in place.
4. Carefully lift the old pump out and discard.
5. Place the new pump into position and replace the two mounting screws.
6. Reconnect the electrical connections and close the access panel.
7. Close the bottom panel and reconnect power to the dishwasher.
8. Test the dishwasher to ensure the WP25001052 PUMP-ASM is working properly.
