1. Start by unplugging the power cord running from your Whirlpool W11492867 Refrigerator. Locate the evaporator motor, which is typically located inside the freezer compartment at the top.
2. Remove the top grille that covers the evaporator motor by using a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screws.
3. Carefully pull out the evaporator motor and disconnect the electrical connections that connect it to the refrigerator.
4. Install the new Whirlpool W11492867 Evaporator Motor in the exact same location as the old one, and reconnect the electrical connections.
5. Reattach the grille cover back on to the evaporator motor, using the Phillips screwdriver.
6. Plug in the power cord for your Whirlpool W11492867 Refrigerator, and allow the motor to run for several minutes before closing the door.
