1. Unplug the appliance and turn off the main gas supply to ensure that no gas is leaking during the replacement process.
2. Take apart the appliance in order to access the Whirlpool W11403914 GASKET-FIP. This can be done by first removing the back panel, top panel or side panel, depending on the model of your appliance. Once this is done, locate and remove any screws that are holding the gasket in place.
3. Remove the old Whirlpool W11403914 GASKET-FIP from the appliance and dispose of it safely.
4. Place the new Whirlpool W11403914 GASKET-FIP in the same configuration as the original and secure it with screws, if necessary.
5. Make sure that the connections are secure and tight so that there will be no leaks.
6. Reassemble the appliance and plug it in. Turn on the main gas supply and check for any gas leaks. If there are any leaks, address them immediately.
