Replacing the Whirlpool W11197783 COVR-INLET
1. Start by unplugging the dryer from the power outlet and turning off the gas valve if applicable.
2. Remove the screws located on the outside edge of the back panel, then lift the panel off the dryer.
3. Now locate the COVR-INLET connector located on the top of the blower wheel housing.
4. Disconnect the electrical connections connected to the old COVR-INLET.
5. Next, unscrew the mounting screws holding the COVR-INLET in place, then carefully remove the old one.
6. Place the new COVR-INLET in the same position, making sure to line up the screw holes.
7. Insert the mounting screws and tighten securely.
8. Reconnect the electrical connections to the new COVR-INLET.
9. Set the back panel back in place and secure with the screws.
10. Plug in the dryer, turn on the gas valve, and test your work.
