Replacing the Frigidaire 297350101 BIN-DOOR
Preparing for the Replacement:
1. Gather supplies. You will need the following items: flathead screwdriver, Phillips head screwdriver, new Frigidaire 297350101 BIN-DOOR, and small hammer (optional).
2. Make sure the appliance is unplugged before starting your replacement project.
3. Make sure that you have the right size door gasket for the appliance.
Instructions:
1. Open the refrigerator and locate the screws that secure the BIN-DOOR to the fridge wall. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws.
2. Carefully lift the broken BIN-DOOR off the fridge wall and set it aside.
3. Line up the hinges of the new BIN-DOOR with the fridge wall, making sure that the holes line up correctly. If the holes do not line up correctly, use a small hammer to gently tap the hinges into place.
4. Secure the BIN-DOOR with the screws you removed in Step 1. Make sure the screws are tightly secured.
5. Carefully remove the old gasket from around the edges of the BIN-DOOR.
6. Place the new gasket around the edge of the BIN-DOOR, lining up the holes with the holes in the door.
7. Press the gasket into the channels along the sides of the BIN-DOOR.
