DIY: How to Replace a DE70-00561A Samsung Microwave Mounting Bracket Plate
Replacing a damaged or missing mounting bracket plate on a Samsung microwave (Model DE70-00561A) is a relatively easy do-it-yourself (DIY) project that can be completed in under an hour. Follow the steps below for instructions on how to replace the Samsung microwave mounting bracket plate.
Tools and Supplies Needed:
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Replacement DE70-00561A mounting bracket plate
Instructions:
1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet before beginning.
2. Remove the microwave from its mounting plate by loosening the screws on either side with the Phillips head screwdriver.
3. Once the microwave is removed, unscrew the existing mounting plate using the Phillips head screwdriver.
4. Replace the old mounting plate with the new DE70-00561A mounting bracket plate.
5. Secure the mounting bracket plate in place with the Phillips head screwdriver.
6. Place the microwave back onto the mounting bracket and tighten the screws to secure it in place.
