Step 1: Unplug the washer
Before beginning any work on a washing machine, unplug the appliance from its power source.

Step 2: Remove the Access Panel
Most washing machines have an access panel located at the back or side of the unit. Carefully remove this panel to access the belt and pulley system inside.

Step 3: Locate the Belt
Look for a black belt attached to the motor and pulley inside. This is the drive belt, and it should be easy to identify.

Step 4: Remove the Old Belt
Using a screwdriver or pliers, carefully loosen and remove the screws that are holding the belt in place. Carefully lift the belt away from the motor and pulley system and discard it.

Step 5: Install the New Belt
Carefully position the new belt in the same place as the old one. Make sure that it is properly aligned with the motor and pulley.

Step 6: Secure the New Belt
Use a screwdriver or pliers to secure the new belt in place firmly.

Step 7: Test the Washer
Plug the washer in and turn it on. If the machine is working correctly, the belt should be spinning, and the washer should function normally. If there is any issue, you may need to replace the belt again or contact a professional for assistance.

Step 8: Clean Up
Dispose of the old belt properly and clean up any debris from the work area.

Please keep in mind, these instructions are for general guidance and should always be used in conjunction with the manufacturer's manual, if available.
