Steps for Replacing the GE Dryer Heating Element and Housing Assy

1. Make sure to unplug the dryer before starting the repair.

2. Open the dryer and remove the back panel by unscrewing the screws at the top.

3. Locate the heating element and housing assy located on the right side panel.

4. Unscrew the screws securing the assembly to the side panel and carefully remove it from the dryer.

5. Remove the screws from the old heating element and housing assembly and detach them from each other.

6. Carefully remove the old heating element from its housing.

7. Insert the new heating element into its housing and secure it with the screws.

8. Place the new heating element and housing assembly into the side panel of the dryer and secure it with the screws.

9. Replace the back panel and screw it back in.

10. Plug the dryer back in and test the new heating element and housing assembly.

Congratulations! You have now successfully replaced the GE Dryer Heating Element and Housing Assy.
