Replacing the GE WD08X27458 Floating Seal Assembly
1. Unplug the washing machine to ensure that it cannot turn on while you are working on it.
2. Remove the bolts holding the front panel of the washing machine in place.
3. Check the back of the machine for the floating seal assembly. It should look like a circular piece of plastic with a spring attached.
4. Disconnect any wiring attached to the assembly and remove it from the machine.
5. Install the new GE WD08X27458 Floating Seal Assembly into the machine, reconnecting the wiring if necessary.
6. Secure the assembly by replacing the bolts holding the front panel in place.
7. Plug the machine back in and test the seal assembly to make sure it is working correctly.
8. After confirming that the replacement was successful, enjoy your newly replaced GE WD08X27458 Floating Seal Assembly!
