Instructions for Replacing the GE WB24T10153 Switch Infinite Control
1. Turn off the power to the switch at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
2. Carefully remove the existing switch. Disconnect the wires and gently pull out the switch.
3. Install the mounting strap, if needed. With some wall plates, you may need to attach a mounting strap before installing the new switch.
4. Cut a hole in the wall plate where the switch will go. Make sure the hole is the same size as the new switch.
5. Connect the wires to the new switch. The connections are usually labeled on the side of the switch.
6. Push the new switch into the wall plate. Secure it with the mounting screws.
7. Turn on the power and test the switch. Ensure that all of the connections are secure.
8. Replace the wall plate and secure it with the provided screws.
