This assembly includes (1) felt seal, (1) felt bearing, (4) locator pins and (1) tube of adhesive to complete the repair. Installing this part will require basic hand tools and disassembly of the dryer. Previous experience will be helpful but is not required to complete this repair. This part has been updated by the manufacturer. The new thermostat may differ in appearance, but will have the same function. The part is located behind the front access panel of the dryer. When replacing, make note of the the position of the colored wires when disconnecting. Both the thermostat and fuse can be tested to determine if either is defective.
