DIY Guide to Replacing the Whirlpool WPW10428211 VENT on a Washing Machine
1.Begin by unplugging the washing machine from its power source.
2.To remove the old vent, find the four screws that secure it to the washing machine. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, loosen and remove the screws.
3.Once the screws are removed, the vent can be lifted off the washing machine.
4.Slide the new Whirlpool WPW10428211 vent into the opening on the washing machine and secure it with the four screws.
5.Once the vent is secure, plug the washing machine back in to its power source.
6.Turn on the washing machine to check if the vent works properly. If it does, your replacement is complete.
7.If not, check the vent for any loose connections or obstructions, then try to power the machine on again.
