DIY Instructions for Replacing the Whirlpool WPW10321032 PUMP-WATER

Replacing the water pump in your Whirlpool WPW10321032 washing machine is an easy and straightforward task that can be completed in a few simple steps. This guide will provide all the information you need to successfully replace your pump.

Step 1: Unplug the power cord and shut off the water supply.

Before you begin, make sure the power cord is unplugged and the water supply to the washing machine is shut off.

Step 2: Move the washer away from the wall and remove the access panel.

Gently move the washer away from the wall and locate the access panel on the back. Remove the panel and set aside.

Step 3: Disconnect the water hoses and drain hose.

Unscrew the two water hoses from the back of the washer and disconnect the drain hose from the pump.

Step 4: Remove the old pump.

There will be either two or four mounting screws securing the pump. Remove them and set aside. Once the screws have been removed, the pump should come out easily.

Step 5: Install the new pump.

Carefully slide the new pump into the opening, making sure it’s aligned correctly. Secure it with the screws you removed in step 4.

Step 6: Reconnect the hoses and access panel.

Reattach the water hoses, drain hose, and access panel. Then, reconnect the power cord and turn on the water supply.

Step 7: Run a cycle.

Run a normal cycle to test the new pump and make sure everything works as expected.

Congratulations! You’ve just replaced the Whirlpool WPW10321032 PUMP-WATER in your washing machine. If you followed these steps correctly, you should now have a fully functioning water pump.
