WP71001653 Whirlpool Control Knob
The Range Surface Burner Control Knob, White allows you to adjust the heating level of your cooktop surface burner. This knob is white and measures approximately 2" D. You can remove the old knob by pulling it straight off its post. Replacing this part will require no tools, disassembly or repair experience.

Replacing the Whirlpool WP71001653 Knob- Switch DIY Instructions
1. Before beginning, disconnect the power source to your stove.
2. Unfasten and remove the old knob- switch using a Phillips head screwdriver.
3. Pull the knob off of the shaft by slipping it off the D-shaped end.
4. Insert the new knob onto the D-shaped end of the shaft and push it onto the shaft.
5. Secure the new knob with the screws provided and reattach the power source.
6. Test the knob to make sure it works properly.
