WP3191328 Whirlpool Control Knob
The Range Control Knob, Black allows you to adjust the time and heating level of your cooktop surface burner. This knob is black with a white indicator line and measures 1-1/2" D. Meant for D-shaped shafts. Simply pull the old knob off its shaft to replace it with the new knob. Replacing this part will require no disassembly or repair experience. Make sure you unplug the oven or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.

DIY Instructions On Replacing the WP3191328 Whirlpool Control Knob
1. Make sure to unplug your appliance before beginning any repair.
2. To replace the control knob, use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the two screws on either side of the control panel located above the knob.
3. Carefully pull the panel away from the appliance and set it aside.
4. Unscrew the retaining screw in the center of the control knob to remove it.
5. Take the new control knob and insert it into the control shaft of the appliance until it is flush against the surface.
6. Secure knob with retaining screw, ensuring that it is not overtightened.
7. Replace the panel over the top of the control knob and secure it with the Phillips-head screws.
8. Plug back in the appliance and test the new knob.
