Replacing the Whirlpool W11391715 FILTER
DIY Instructions
1. Unplug your refrigerator from the electrical outlet for safety before starting.
2. Find the filter compartment located either in the lower grille or back of your fridge, depending on your model. To open the compartment, slide the button located on the compartment door to the side.
3. Once the compartment is open, look for the current filter and remove it. The filter may have a twist-off cap to make it easier to remove.
4. Take the new Whirlpool W11391715 FILTER and insert it into the compartment. If necessary, twist the filter in to make sure it is secured.
5. Close the filter compartment and press the button firmly to ensure it is securely closed.
6. Turn on the water supply at the shut-off valve, located either behind the fridge or beneath the sink.
7. Visit Whirlpool's website to register your new filter and activate the six-month filter change reminder if provided.
8. Run the water from your dispenser for 2-3 minutes to clear any air from the line.
Now your Whirlpool W11391715 FILTER is installed and ready to serve you with clean and safe drinking water. Be sure to replace your filter every 6 months for optimal performance.
