Instructions for Replacing a Whirlpool W11243759 Shelf-Glass
1. Ensure that you have unplugged the refrigerator from any electrical outlets before beginning the replacement process.
2. Begin by using a small putty knife or flathead screwdriver to gently pry off the plastic cover on the left side of the refrigerator door, which is located below the handle. This will expose the screws that will need to be loosened in order to remove the shelf-glass.
3. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to unfasten the screws and remove them.
4. Gently pull out the old shelf-glass and set it aside.
5. Carefully measure the opening of the shelf-glass so that you know what size replacement glass you need to purchase.
6. Visit your local hardware store or home improvement center to purchase the appropriate size replacement shelf-glass for your refrigerator.
7. Place the new shelf-glass into the existing shelf opening and begin to fasten it in place with the previously loosened screws.
8. Once the shelf-glass has been securely attached, replace the plastic cover on the left side of the refrigerator door and ensure that it is firmly in place.
9. Plug the refrigerator back in and you’re done! You have now successfully replaced your Whirlpool W11243759 Shelf-Glass.
Please keep in mind, these instructions are for general guidance and should always be used in conjunction with the manufacturer's manual, if available.
