Replacing the W11116990 Whirlpool Microwave Button Holder

1. Unplug the microwave from the wall outlet and remove it from any mounting fixtures.
2. Remove the outer cabinet by removing the screws/bolts at the four corners of the cabinet.
3. Take off the metal plate, which is located at the top of the control panel. There should be 4 screws that you need to remove to take off the metal plate.
4. Inside the control panel, you will see the button holder assembly. Unscrew the screws that hold it in place. Once the screws are removed, pull out the entire button holder assembly.
5. Take the new button holder assembly (part W11116990) and insert it into the control panel. Secure it by putting back the screws.
6. Place the metal plate back on the top of the control panel.
7. Put the outer cabinet screws/bolts back in place.
8. Mount the microwave back into its original fixtures.
9. Plug the microwave back into the wall outlet and test it out.
