DIY Instructions for Replacing the Whirlpool W10887800 BIN-CNTLVR
1. Unplug the refrigerator from the electrical outlet and turn the water off to the refrigerator, if connected.
2. Remove the bins from the refrigerator, as well as any shelving or drawers that are in the way.
3. Use a screwdriver to loosen and remove any screws holding the door handle onto the freezer door, as well as screws securing the top hinge to the cabinet.
4. Gently lift the freezer door off of its hinge, then swing open the refrigerator door to gain access to the bin-cntlvr.
5. Unscrew any screws that are holding the bin-cntlvr in place, then pull out the old part.
6. Place the new bin-cntlvr into the same place as the old part, then secure it with any extra screws.
7. Reattach the door hinges and handle to the freezer and refrigerator doors, respectively.
8. Place all bins, drawers, and shelves back into the refrigerator.
9. Turn the water back on and plug the refrigerator into the electrical outlet.
10. Congratulations! You have successfully replaced your Whirlpool W10887800 BIN-CNTLVR.
