This guide will walk you step-by-step through the process of replacing the Whirlpool dishwasher electronic control board model W10737607. With the right tools and a few simple steps, you can have your dishwasher working like new in no time!

Tools needed for this repair:

-Slot Screwdriver

-Protective Gloves

-Vacuum Cleaner (optional)



Step 1: Unplug the dishwasher from the wall outlet. It is essential to unplug the dishwasher from the wall outlet since it will still have power flow to the electronic control board, even when the switch is turned off or in the off position.

Step 2: Lift the top panel of your dishwasher. Use a slot screwdriver to unscrew and remove the screws at the back of the dishwasher that keep the top panel in place. Carefully lift the top panel up and off of the dishwasher.

Step 3: Disconnect the wires connecting to the electronic control board. Using protective gloves for safety, proceed to gently unplug the wires connected to the electronic control board.

Step 4: Remove the electronic control board from the dishwasher. Use a slot screwdriver to unscrew and remove the screws holding the electronic control board in place. Carefully lift the control board off of its mount.

Step 5: Install the new electronic control board in the dishwasher. Place the new electronic control board in the same spot where the old one was mounted. Secure it in place with the screws.

Step 6: Reconnect the wires to the new electronic control board. Using protective gloves for safety, proceed to gently reconnect the wires to the new electronic control board.

Step 7: Replace the top panel of the dishwasher. Carefully place the top panel back on the dishwasher and secure it in place with the screws.

Step 8: Plug the dishwasher back into the wall outlet. You can now plug the dishwasher back into the wall outlet and test the new electronic control board.
