206638 Whirlpool Break Siphon Connector Kit
This Top Load Washer Siphon Break Assembly is designed for use with rubber and plastic drain hose applications and includes (1) rubber gasket and (1) metal clamp. The wash water siphon break provides an air gap in the drain to prevent the siphoning of dirty water back into the washer. If you notice water leaking on the floor behind your appliance, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
