Replacing the 242074223 Frigidaire Dispenser Module
1. Unplug your refrigerator from the power source.
2. Open the freezer compartment door and locate the evaporator cover in the upper-right corner. Pull the cover off.
3. With a nut driver, remove the four mounting screws that secure the evaporator fan motor to the evaporator housing.
4. Lift the fan motor out of the housing and place it aside.
5. Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the dispenser module.
6. Unscrew the three screws located on the upper part of the dispenser module and pull off the plastic cover.
7. Remove the two screws located on the sides of the dispenser module.
8. Carefully lift the dispenser module out and replace it with the new 242074223 Frigidaire Dispenser Module.
9. Secure the dispenser module with the two screws you removed earlier and snap the plastic cover back on.
10. Plug the wiring harness into the new module.
11. Reinstall the evaporator fan motor and secure with the four mounting screws.
12. Put the evaporator cover back in place and close the freezer compartment door.
13. Plug your refrigerator back into the power source and you are now ready for use.
