Each spring measures approximately 7-1/2" L. You'll release the tabs from the top of the washer and remove the front panel from the machine to access the old springs. You can remove all of the springs from the front of the washer, but, you can also remove the back panel of the appliance for easier access. Apply a small amount of grease to the bottom of the new springs before you reconnect them to the washer tub. This Front Load Dryer Thermal Cut Off Fuse is a safety device designed to protect the dryer from overheating. If your dryer won't start, won't produce heat, shuts off too soon ... or won't tumble, replacing the cut off fuse may alleviate these issues. The thermal cut off is located behind the dryer's lower access panel and attaches to the exhaust duct.
