Depending upon your model, you may not have the same terminal blocks and you may need to swap out your wires one at a time. This switch is for 6-inch burners (5.2- 6.6 amp). For 8" burners, use part WP3149400 at whirlpoolparts.com under item number 2786. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience.
