Replacing the EBF61315802 LG Washer Lid Lock Switch Assembly
1. Unplug the washer from the wall outlet and shut off the water supply.
2. Open the lid of the washing machine and locate the lid lock switch assembly. It is located near the lid hinge on the back of the washer's left side.
3. Remove the screws holding the lid lock switch assembly in place.
4. Carefully pull out the old lid lock switch assembly.
5. Take the new lid lock switch assembly and slide it into the same space as the old one. Make sure to align the tabs with the slots inside the washing machine.
6. Replace the screws that were removed in step 3.
7. Plug the washer back into the wall outlet and turn on the water supply.
8. Test the lid lock switch assembly by pressing the lid switch and making sure that it is working properly.
