Step 1: Begin by unplugging the appliance from the wall. Make sure that it is shut off completely before continuing with this repair.
Step 2: Use an adjustable wrench to unscrew the two nuts securing the hub nut. For some models, you might need to use a smaller wrench.
Step 3: Now that the old hub nut is removed, take your new WH2X1193 GE Hub Nut and place it into the grooved slot of the hub and secure it with the two nuts from earlier.
Step 4: Tighten up the hub nut using the adjustable wrench, then plug the appliance back into the wall socket.
Step 5: Turn the appliance on to ensure the hub nut is properly secured. If everything looks okay, your repair is complete, and you're done!
