1. Unplug the power to the GE washer before beginning any repairs.
2. Using a flathead screwdriver, remove the two screws that hold the top panel in place. The top panel should come off easily and you can now access the water inlet valve – WH13X10024.
3. Disconnect the two hoses connected to the valve. Make sure to label each hose so you can reconnect them later.
4. Remove the three screws that hold the water inlet valve in place.
5. Once the screws are removed, pull the valve out from its place.
6. Take your new WH13X10024 water inlet fill valve and place it in the same spot as where the old one was.
7. Take the three screws and attach them to the new water inlet valve to secure it in place.
8. Connect the two hoses to the new water inlet fill valve.
9. Put the top panel back in place and secure with the two screws.
10. Plug in the power to the GE washer and test the new water inlet fill valve. If it all works correctly, you have successfully replaced the WH13X10024 GE Washer Water Inlet Fill Valve.
