1. Unplug the washing machine and remove any remaining water from the tub.
2. Place a towel or soft material on the floor beneath the washing machine to protect it from scratches during the repair process.
3. Locate and remove the foot and base screws. These are usually located at the bottom of the washing machine near the back panel.
4. Carefully lift the foot and base off the washing machine and set them aside.
5. Place the new GE WH01X29177 foot and base onto the washing machine.
6. Secure the foot and base using the previously removed screws.
7. Tighten the screws firmly with a screwdriver or adjustable wrench.
8. Plug the washing machine into the wall outlet and replace any hoses, clamps, or other components removed for the repair.
9. Test the washing machine to ensure the new foot and base are working correctly.
