1. Unplug the dishwasher power cord from the power outlet.
2. Remove the kick plate at the base of the dishwasher to access the drain pump.
3. Locate the four screws that hold the drain pump in place and remove them using a Phillips head screwdriver.
4. Pull the pump out and disconnect the electrical wiring harness.
5. Take the new GE WD19X25461 drain pump assembly and plug the electrical wiring harness into it. Then place the pump in the opening and secure it with the four screws.
6. Replace the kick plate and plug the power cord back into the wall.
7. Test the new pump by running a cycle on your dishwasher.
