DIY Steps to Replace the GE WD02X10169 SCR B-16 HXW ½ SS
1. Turn off the power to your appliance at the circuit breaker or unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
2. Remove the screws from the outside of the appliance and the screws holding the panel in place.
3. Carefully lift the panel away from the appliance and set it aside.
4. Locate the GE WD02X10169 SCR B-16 HXW ½ SS.
5. Unscrew the screws holding the part in place and carefully remove the part.
6. Install the new GE WD02X10169 SCR B-16 HXW ½ SS according to the manufacturer’s instructions and secure it with the screws provided.
7. Replace the appliance panel and secure in place with the screws.
8. Turn on the power to the appliance and test for proper operation.
