1. Unplug the stove from the wall before beginning any repairs.
2. To access the WB16X28654 GE Stove Burner Cap Cover, you may need to remove the burner grates first. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions if necessary.
3. Depending on your model stove, you may need to remove two screws that secure the burner cap cover in place. Locate and remove the screws with a screwdriver.
4. The burner cap cover should come loose after the screws have been removed. Carefully pull it out of the opening.
5. Carefully clean the surface beneath the old burner cap cover before placing the new part in the same area.
6. Line up the new WB16X28654 GE Stove Burner Cap Cover with its corresponding port on the stove and securely press it into place.
7. Reattach the securing screws with a screwdriver.
8. Replace the burner grates if they were removed.
9. Restore power to the stove and test the burner cap cover by turning the burners on to ensure that it is working properly.
