1. Unplug the stove or turn off the breaker that supplies power to the stove.
2. Remove the grate covering the medium burner by removing the two screws and securing it with a Phillips-head screwdriver.
3. Lift the grate away from the stove and set it aside.
4. Unscrew the four screws holding the metal ring on top of the burner.
5. Carefully lift the metal ring away from the burner, not damaging the wiring.
6. Locate the two wires connected to the back of the old medium burner and disconnect them.
7. Place the new WB16X24724 GE Medium Burner into the same slot and reconnect the two wires.
8. Place the metal ring over the burner and secure it with the four screws.
9. Replace the grate on the stove and secure it with the two screws.
10. Plug the stove back into the wall socket or turn the power back on.
