DIY Instructions on How to Replace a Whirlpool WPW10494334 BIN-FRAME
Tools Needed
-Socket set
-Screwdriver
-Flashlight
-Needle nose pliers
Step 1: Begin by disconnecting the power to the appliance. Unplug the power cord or shut off the power at the breaker box.
Step 2: Remove the front panels of the appliance by unscrewing the screws along the edges of the front panels. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to screw out the screws. Set the removed panels aside.
Step 3: Look inside the appliance and locate the bin-frame. The bin-frame is a plastic piece that is screwed into the inner walls of the appliance.
Step 4: Use a socket set to remove the screws that hold the bin-frame in place. Be sure to store the screws in a safe place.
Step 5: Gently pull the bin-frame away from the inner walls. If the bin-frame is stuck, use needle nose pliers to loosen it.
Step 6: Install the new bin-frame by lining up the holes on the bin-frame with the holes on the inner walls of the appliance. Secure the bin-frame with the screws you stored earlier.
Step 7: Reattach the front panels of the appliance and use a Phillips-head screwdriver to reinsert the screws.
Step 8: Restore power to the appliance.
You have now successfully replaced the Whirlpool WPW10494334 BIN-FRAME!
