The Gas Range Surface Burner Control Knob allows you to adjust the heating level of your gas cooktop burner. This knob mimics the look of brushed stainless steel and measures 2" D. Each knob is sold separately. Replacing this part will require no disassembly or repair experience. DIY Instructions for Replacing a Whirlpool Stove Burner Control Knob (WPW10303835)
1. Unplug your stove from the power source.
2. Locate the existing burner control knob on the stove.
3. Carefully remove the existing knob by unscrewing it in a clockwise direction.
4. Take note of any special features on the existing knob, such as indicators or numbers, as they may need to be replicated on the replacement knob.
5. Obtain a new Whirlpool stove burner control knob (WPW10303835) that is compatible with your model.
6. Line up the knob's shaft with the stove's control shaft so that when the knob is screwed back on, the faces of the two are flush with each other.
7. Replicate any special features (as noted in step 4) onto the replacement knob.
8. Place the replacement knob over the control shaft and gently turn it counterclockwise until it is securely fastened.
9. Re-plug your stove and test the replacement knob for proper operation.
