Replacing the Whirlpool WPW10250742 Drawer Slide-Bottom
1. Begin by unplugging your appliance from the power source and then removing the drawers from the appliance.
2. Using a screwdriver, remove the screws from the inside of the framing that attaches the sides of the slide to the bottom of the drawer.
3. Unscrew the slotted screws attaching the slide mechanism onto the underside of the drawer.
4. Carefully lower the slide mechanism down off of the drawer.
5. Gently pull the slide mechanism out from the side bracket.
6. Take the new drawer slide-bottom and place it into the side bracket.
7. Secure the slide mechanism back onto the underside of the drawer with the same slotted screws.
8. Reattach the sides of the slide to the bottom of the drawer with the screws.
9. Slide the drawer back into the appliance and reapply the plug to the power source.
10. Test the slide to ensure that it is properly installed and adjust as needed.
