How to Replace a Whirlpool WPW10190501 Hose
Replacing the hose in your Whirlpool washer is a quick and easy repair that will save you the cost of calling a technician. Here are the steps for replacing the Whirlpool WPW10190501 hose.
Materials:
- New Whirlpool WPW10190501 hose
- Wrench
- Pliers
Instructions:
1) Shut off the water supply to the washer by turning off the hot and cold water valves located behind the washer.
2) Disconnect the hot and cold-water hoses from the inlet valves.
3) Unscrew the clamps on the old hose using a wrench and pliers.
4) Remove the old hose from the washer connection and discard it.
5) Take the new Whirlpool WPW10190501 hose and fit it onto the washer connection.
6) Secure the hose with the clamps provided and tighten them securely with a wrench and/or pliers.
7) Reconnect the hot and cold-water hoses to the inlet valves.
8) Turn on the hot and cold water valves behind the washer and check for any leaks.
Your Whirlpool washer is now ready to use.
