WP22001664 Whirlpool Timer Knob
This Dryer Timer Knob Insert is a white plastic circular part used to form a decorative cover over the top of the timer knob. If your current Timer Knob Insert is cracked or damaged, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. To remove the old insert, insert a flat blade screwdriver under the insert and slowly rotate it to release it from the knob. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, no disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. Step 1: Unplug the appliance from the power source.
Step 2: Remove the old timer knob by pulling it off the shaft of the timer.
Step 3: Take the new timer knob and align its notch with the dimple on the timer shaft.
Step 4: Push firmly on the timer knob until it snaps into place.
Step 5: Plug the appliance back in to the power source.
Step 6: Adjust the timer knob to your desired settings.
