WP2188542 Whirlpool Refrigerator Inlet Valve
This SxS Refrigerator Dual Water Inlet Valve combines 2 solenoid inlet valves. One valve supplies water to the refrigerator ice maker and the other valve supplies water to the water dispenser. If the water dispenser or ice maker no longer works, the valve may be worn, leaking or damaged. Be sure to place a towel down on the work surface before installing the new part in case of drips. This part replaces all previous inlet valves. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this item. Also be sure to turn off the hot and cold water supplies to your refrigerator.
