DIY Instructions for Replacing the Whirlpool W11545318 Panel
1. Start by shutting off the power to your appliance. Remove the screws that secure the panel to the washer. Then remove the old panel.
2. Carefully inspect the area around the panel for any wiring connections and disconnect them before completely removing the panel.
3. Carefully remove the trim molding at the top of the panel, making sure not to damage it.
4. Place the new panel into the space vacated by the old one. Make sure that the edges are properly aligned and securely in place.
5. Secure the panel in place with the screws and then reattach the trim molding at the top of the panel with the adhesive provided in the kit.
6. Reconnect any wiring that was disconnected and then plug in the appliance.
7. Turn on the power and test the new panel to make sure it is functioning properly.
