-Flathead screwdriver
-Phillips head screwdriver
-Pliers
Step 1: Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet to ensure your safety throughout the repair process.
Step 2: Locate the screws that secure the top cover of the dishwasher and remove them using a Phillips head screwdriver. Discard all of the screws in a safe place to avoid misplacing them.
Step 3: Carefully remove the top cover from the dishwasher and set it aside.
Step 4: Locate the old Whirlpool W11545307 stopper/cap and remove it with a flathead screwdriver.
Step 5: Take the new stopper/cap and align it onto the dishwasher, making sure to completely line up all of the holes.
Step 6: Secure the stopper/cap in place with a screwdriver.
Step 7: Replace the top cover of the dishwasher and secure it in place with the Phillips head screwdriver.
