Replacing the Whirlpool Dishwasher Control Board (W11413274)
Tools Needed:
- Electric drill
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Wire cutters
- Pliers
- Small flathead screwdriver
Step One: Unplug the dishwasher and remove the screws on the bottom panel. Lift the panel off and set aside.
Step Two: Locate the old control board and use the electric drill to remove the metal cover from the board.
Step Three: Cut the wires connected to the old control board with the wire cutters. Then, use the pliers to carefully pull the wires off the board.
Step Four: Put the new control board in place and attach the wires to the board using the small flathead screwdriver. Secure the board with screws.
Step Five: Replace the bottom panel and screws. Finally, plug the dishwasher back in and test the new control board to make sure it is functioning correctly.
