Replacing the Whirlpool W11411581 CNTRL-ELEC: DIY Instructions
1. Unplug the fridge from its power source and shut off the water supply to the ice maker. Then remove any food stored in the freezer and fridge.
2. Remove the shelves and drawers from the appliance.
3. Open the lower toe grille panel to access the rear of the refrigerator.
4. Locate the Whirlpool W11411581 CNTRL-ELEC control board and unscrew the mounting screws located on the circuit board.
5. Carefully disconnect the wiring harness from the CNTRL-ELEC control board.
6. Remove the faulty circuit board from the refrigerator and replace it with the new Whirlpool W11411581 CNTRL-ELEC control board.
7. Carefully reconnect the wiring harness to the new control board.
8. Secure the new circuit board with the screws.
9. Close the lower toe grille panel.
10. Reinstall the shelves and drawers into the fridge.
11. Plug in the power cord and turn on the water supply to the ICE maker.
12. Reset the fridge’s temperature settings.
