Step 1: Shut off the power to the dishwasher. Unplug the appliance or turn off the breaker to ensure no electricity is running through the machine.
Step 2: Remove the bottom panel of the dishwasher by unscrewing the screws that are holding it in place. Carefully lift off the panel and set it aside.
Step 3: Locate the Whirlpool W11403873 Strap beneath the dishwasher tub. This can be located at the front of the machine.
Step 4: Disconnect the strap from the two clips that attach it to the dishwasher.
Step 5: Replace the old strap with a new one. Make sure to securely connect it to the clips.
Step 6: Put the bottom panel back in place and secure it with the screws.
Step 7: Turn the power back on and test the dishwasher.
