Replacing the Whirlpool W11247223 DOOR/MW/SX
1. First, unplug and turn off all power to the appliance before beginning any repairs.
2. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws on the edges of the door panel and remove the panel.
3. Disconnect the wiring harness from the door latch assembly.
4. Remove the screws holding the door latch assembly in place and then take out the assembly.
5. Insert the new latch assembly and reattach the wiring harness. Secure the latch assembly with the screws.
6. Place the outer door panel back onto the door frame, then add the screws back into their holes to secure the panel.
7. Plug the power back in and test the new latch assembly for proper operation.
