Materials Needed:
- Replacement trivet
- Socket wrench
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Flathead screwdriver
Step 1: Unplug the oven from the wall outlet. Remove the control knobs on the front of the oven.
Step 2: Unfasten the screws at the back of the oven with a socket wrench. Use a flathead screwdriver to carefully remove the plate that covers the backburner. Remove the screws that hold the wires connecting the backburner to the oven. Once loosened, disconnect the wires and set aside.
Step 3: Locate the existing trivet at the bottom of the oven cavity. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws that are holding it in place. Gently lift the old trivet out of the oven and discard.
Step 4: Take the replacement trivet and place it over the holes in the oven cavity. Secure the trivet with the screws using a Phillips head screwdriver. Connect the wires to the backburner, fasten them with the screws, and replace the plate.
Step 5: Replace the control knobs on the front of the oven. Plug the oven in and test it out to ensure it is working properly.
