1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and turn off the water supply.
2. Locate and remove the screws that hold the outer tub to the washer cabinet.
3. Lift off the top of the washer and tilt it back so that you can access the outer tub and its components.
4. Disconnect the drain hose, water inlet valves, and level switch.
5. Remove the old tub by lifting it off the brackets that hold it in place.
6. Place the new Whirlpool W10882132 TUB-OUTER in the same location and secure it to the washer cabinet with the screws.
7. Reconnect the drain hose, water inlet valves, and level switch.
8. Test the new Whirlpool W10882132 TUB-OUTER for proper operation.
9. Reattach the top of the washer to the cabinet and plug in the power cord.
10. Turn on the water supply and make sure all connections are secure.
