2. Begin by unplugging the refrigerator and then opening the door. Remove any items that are stored on the shelf you are replacing.
3. Use the Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the shelf in place. With the screws removed, you can then carefully lift up the shelf and set it aside.
4. Take the replacement shelf and slide it into the openings until it fits securely. If necessary, use the needle-nose pliers to make adjustments to the shelf to ensure a proper fit.
