DIY Steps to Replace a Whirlpool W10823719 ELMNT-SURF

1. Unplug the Whirlpool W10823719 ELMNT-SURF appliance from the power outlet.

2. Remove the screws that are holding the top of the appliance in place.

3. Lift the top panel off and set aside.

4. Locate the element on the back of the appliance.

5. Disconnect the wires from the element.

6. Remove the screws or bolts that are holding the element in place.

7. Lift the element out and set aside.

8. Place the new element into the opening.

9. Secure the element with the screws or bolts that were removed earlier.

10. Reconnect the wires to the new element.

11. Reattach the top panel to the appliance.

12. Plug the appliance back into the power outlet.

13. Test the appliance to make sure it is operating properly.
