W10811155 Whirlpool Dishwasher Black Touch Control Panel

The Dishwasher Touchpad and Control Panel houses the selection buttons and display for your dishwasher. This part is black in color and is specifically designed to be used with black dishwasher models. You may need to replace this panel if the current display on your appliance isn’t responding properly or the buttons are broken and no longer functional. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. 1. Turn off power to the dishwasher. Unplug the dishwasher from the wall or turn the circuit breaker off, whichever is applicable.
2. Remove the screws located on the top of the control panel. Gently pry the control panel with a flat head screwdriver or a putty knife. Once the panel is removed, unplug the wires from the back of the panel.
3. Connect the new control panel with touchpad and plug the wiring harness into the back of the panel.
4. Place the panel back into its original place and secure it with the screws.
5. Plug the appliance back in or turn the circuit breaker back on.
6. Test the new panel by selecting a cycle and running a wash cycle. Make sure all the buttons on the panel are operational.
