Replacing a Whirlpool W10640341 Trivet
DIY Instructions
1. Unplug your Whirlpool stovetop from the electrical outlet and turn off the gas supply before beginning.
2. Remove the element screw and lift off the burner for access to the trivet below.
3. Lift up the griddle platform to access the mounting screws for the trivet.
4. Remove the two screws that secure the trivet to the stovetop.
5. Take out the old trivet and discard it.
6. Place the new trivet onto the stovetop and secure it with the screws you removed earlier.
7. Replace the griddle platform and the element screw, ensuring that all of them are securely in place.
8. Plug the stovetop back in and turn on the gas supply.
9. Check to make sure the new trivet is properly installed and functioning correctly.
